Freeletics is a fitness app built around bodyweight training. Its paid tier, the Freeletics Coach, uses an AI-driven plan that builds each session from your goals, fitness level, available equipment and feedback on previous workouts. The free version gives access to a limited set of workouts; the Coach is what people pay for.
Buying Freeletics well depends on three things: the plan length, where you pay, and how renewal works. The training itself you can test before committing.
What the Freeletics Coach adds
The free Freeletics app lets you try some workouts and see the format: short, intense sessions of burpees, squats, push-ups and runs, timed and scored. It is enough to judge whether you like the style.
The Coach turns that into a structured programme. It sets weekly sessions, adjusts intensity based on how hard you rated the last workout, and swaps exercises to suit your space, whether you train with no equipment, with a pull-up bar, or in a gym. Freeletics has also offered nutrition guidance and audio coaching in some plans; check what the current bundle includes.
Plan lengths and what they really cost
Freeletics sells the Coach in blocks of months, and the longest plan has the lowest monthly cost. That makes the twelve-month plan look the obvious choice, but only if you will still be training in month nine.
A fair test: if you have never kept a training habit for three months, start with a shorter Freeletics plan. If you already train regularly and want structure, the yearly plan with a big code is the cheapest way to get it.
Look at the total charged today, not the monthly figure shown beside it. Longer plans are paid upfront.
Web or App Store billing
You can buy the Freeletics Coach inside the iOS or Android app, where Apple or Google handles billing, or on the Freeletics website with a card. The account and the training are the same either way.
Codes are the difference. Freeletics codes like the ones below are entered on the website checkout. Apple and Google in-app purchases generally do not accept a merchant code, so buy on the web if you want the discount, then log into the app with the same account.
Cancelling follows the billing route. A plan bought in the App Store is cancelled in your Apple subscriptions; a web plan is cancelled in your Freeletics account settings.
Renewals and cancellation
Freeletics plans renew automatically at the end of the term unless cancelled. The renewal price may not include the discount you paid the first time, so check the renewal terms shown at checkout.
Put a reminder in your calendar a week before the end date. Decide then whether to renew, switch length, or wait for the next Freeletics sale and buy again on a fresh code.
Refund terms depend on where you bought and your country. Read the current Freeletics terms rather than assuming a refund after the renewal has gone through.
Choosing a starting journey
Freeletics organises the Coach into training journeys, each with a goal such as fat loss, strength, general fitness or a gentler start. Picking the right one matters more than any feature.
If you have been inactive, choose a beginner or low-impact Freeletics journey even if it feels easy for a week. High-intensity bodyweight work is hard on knees, wrists and shoulders when form is poor. Anyone with a health condition, injury or pregnancy should speak to a doctor before starting any intense programme.
Give honest feedback after every session. The Coach adapts from that rating, so rating a brutal session as easy makes the next one harder.
Where the Freeletics savings are
The 55% code comes from a new year sale and is the largest here that looks genuine. Try it first, and use it on the plan length you actually intend to finish.
The 40% code dates from a Black Friday promotion. Seasonal Freeletics codes can lapse, so if it fails, the new year code or the next seasonal sale is the fallback.
The 10% code looks aimed at new customers. It is the smallest saving but may still work when the sale codes have ended.
All three are entered on the Freeletics website, not in the app store. A percentage off a year upfront saves the most in cash; a percentage off a short plan saves less, but you commit less too.
Common questions
Can I use a Freeletics code in the iPhone app?
Generally not. Buy on the Freeletics website with the code, then sign into the app with the same account.
Does Freeletics need equipment?
No. The Coach can build plans with no equipment, and adds exercises if you tell it you have a bar or gym access.
Will my Freeletics plan renew at the discounted price?
Not necessarily. Check the renewal terms at checkout and set a reminder before the end date.
Is Freeletics suitable for beginners?
Yes, if you pick a beginner journey and rate sessions honestly. Check with a doctor first if you have health concerns.
